Image Processing & Data Privacy
At Penguin Edit, your privacy is our primary engineering requirement. We explicitly designed our core layout calculation engine to operate entirely within your local browser environment.
- Temporary ProcessingYour photos are processed temporarily for the sole purpose of generating print layouts. Once generation is complete and you close the tab, the memory is cleared.
- No Permanent StorageWe do not permanently store your photos. We do not have user accounts, and therefore we have no database tying your face to an identity.
- Zero Data SellingWe do not analyze your facial mapping data, nor do we sell any user information or uploaded images to third parties or advertising networks.
Analytics Tracking
We use basic, privacy-friendly analytics to understand which tools (e.g., Passport layout vs. 4x6 layout) are most popular so we can improve the service. This data is strictly aggregated and completely anonymized.
